FAQ's

Q: What happens if I’m not satisfied with the cleaning?
A: If you are not completely satisfied, we will happily come back and re-clean the areas you think need cleaned again at no additional charge if you contact us within 24 hours. At Organically Maid, LLC, the job is only finished when you are completely satisfied.

Q: Must I be at home when you clean?
A: No, you do not.  Most clients are not home while their service is being provided.  In this case, they choose from the following options:

  • Give us a key (a popular choice among clients)
  • Leave a key in a safe place each visit
  • For those homes with a monitored alarm
    • Leave the alarm off for scheduled visits
    • Provide us entry/exit codes-You may be able to assign a special number just for us, depending on your service provider.
By far, the most efficient, safe solution is for us to be provided with a key and alarm code.

Q: How do you protect my keys?
A: Your key is individually tagged and numbered.  It is kept in a secured, locked key storage cabinet to which only the business owner has access. The key is issued to the Team Leader on the day of your cleaning. The Team Leader returns the key at the end of the day and the owner returns it to the secured cabinet.

Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes!  We are insured by a major, popular insurance company. 

Q: Do I need to keep my pets out of my house when you visit?
A: We love animals!  In fact all of the owners have multiple pets.  You may keep them out if they are docile and easy going.  However, if they may have a violent side, please lock them up.

Q: Why do you use Green cleaning supplies?  Does it cost more? 
A: You will not be charged more for the supplies we use.  Yes, they do cost us more, but we feel that we should keep our prices lower than everyone else, and also provide a healthier and cleaner environment.  We use green products because they are proven to be healthier than industrial cleaners and help save the planet.  Less toxicity in your environment means a safer and healthier environment for you and your loved ones as well as a brighter future for your planet.

Q: Will I always have the same team or individual?
A: We make every effort to have the same team in your home. Occasionally, there may be a change in a team member due to unforeseen circumstances. The Team Leader's job is to learn your home and to teach the team members to deliver the quality that you would expect even if they have not previously been to your house.

Q: Will you be there when you say you will?
A: Absolutely! We pride ourselves on our punctuality and reliability almost as much as our proficiency. Our computer-driven organizational methods and our management staff ensure that we will not let you down.

Q: Are teams trained and supervised?
A: Team members are trained before they’re permitted to enter your home. Training continues as we learn about new products/methods and to reinforce prior training. Each team includes a Team Leader to see that cleaning tasks are correctly completed.

Q: How do I know you’ll do a good job?
A: No one in the industry goes further to ensure a high quality cleaning than Organically Maid, LLC. All of our staff receives thorough training.  Our team leaves an information sheet with names of the team members that cleaned your house.  We also provide significant incentives to all our staff for the quality of their work judged by our clients. Should there ever be a problem, please call us and so that we can correct it.

Q: Do I need to clean before you come?
A: Please pick up before we come to ensure an efficient cleaning.  We will, however, tidy up a bit when necessary.

Q: Will you really dust all baseboards, windowsills, and blinds?
A: Yes, we do.  However,
there are instances in which a simple dusting will not eliminate all dust.  Please note that a build up of dust will require a deep clean, available at an additional cost.  Similar instances occur with tile floors as well.  Sometimes they need a deep clean on our hand and knees as opposed to just being mopped.

Q: Are you going to move furniture and rugs when cleaning the floors?
A: We will move small rugs, but not area rugs.  Moving of area rugs and furniture is associated with our deep clean, available at an additional cost.  Your rugs will, of course, also be cleaned!

Q: Why doesn’t my tile grout look ‘like new’ after you cleaned my home?                       ?
A: If you ordered the Basic Cleaning package you will not receive our ‘on hands and knees’ or otherwise know as, Deep Cleaning package.  Please contact a company representative to get a price for this type service.

Q: Will you clean the closets and utility room?
A: Our services include cleaning the
bedrooms,bathrooms and common living areas (living room, kitchen, office, etc.).  We do not clean the closets and utility rooms due to the belief that these are personal spaces. If asked, we will certainly accommodate your request, possibly with an additional charge.

Q: Do you take special requests?
A: Certainly!  We want you to be happy with our services, and this makes our job easier.  Perhaps you have a pet peeve that you would like us to pay special attention to, or an area you would like to clean yourself.  Many requests can be accommodated with no additional charge.
